Lithology and Thickness
Mamfe Fm: Mamfe Formation is about 800m thick and consists of arkosic sandstones, with intercalations of marls, sandy limestones and shales. The sandstones are coarse to pebbly cross-bedded. There are also plant fragments and lignitic beds (Nwajide, 2013).
